About Jaeger-LeCoultre and these Terms of Use
Jaeger-LeCoultre, branch of Richemont International SA, has its registered offices at Rue de la Golisse 8, CH-1347 Le Sentier, Switzerland. JLSafe is owned and edited by Jaeger-LeCoultre.
These Terms of Use govern your use of our B2B extranet website for our retailers/independent repairers (“JLSafe”). In these Terms of Use, we use the term Jaeger-LeCoultre (and "we", "us" and "our") to refer to the head office of Jaeger-LeCoultre at the registered address above and its affiliates.
Your use of the JLSafe
Use of and access to each section of the JLSafe is strictly limited to any user to whom access to all or any section of the JLSafe has been granted, including Jaeger-LeCoultre and or Richemont personnel, authorised/independent retailers together with their officers, employees and agents.
Access to the JLSafe is entirely dependent on the on the continuation any relevant agreement entered into between Jaeger-LeCoultre and the authorised/independent retailer and to the express acceptance of these Terms of Use.
Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using JLSafe. By using JLSafe, you signify your assent and agreement to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, then you are not authorised to continue use of JLSafe.
Updates to these Terms of Use
We may make changes from time to time to these Terms of Use so please check back regularly to keep informed of updates. The latest version of these Terms of Use will always be available on JLSafe. Any new version of these Terms of Use shall take effect and will govern the use of JLSafe and your relationship with us immediately upon the date of posting. By continuing to use JLSafe, you agree to be bound by the terms of these updates and amendments.
Conditions of Use
Individual account profiles are created in the form of access codes and passwords and transmitted to users by their local administrator or key user thereby allowing access to and use of the relevant section of JLSafe. All account profiles are strictly personal and may not be shared with or disclosed to any other party.
You shall be liable for any operation, misuse, manipulation or any other act or omission performed under your account profile, including any unauthorised act undertaken by one of its officers, directors, employees, agents or any other third party who gains access to the JLSafe through use of the user’s account profile.
Jaeger-LeCoultre may terminate use of and access to the different sections of JLSafe and cancel user’s account profile if it reasonably believes that user has violated or acted inconsistently with these Terms of Use, or violated the rights of Jaeger-LeCoultre or any third party, or for any reason with or without notice to them.
You further agree to:
- notify the Jaeger-LeCoultre administrator or key user responsible for managing your account profile immediately in the event that you becomes aware of any unauthorised use of your account profile, including security breaches of whatever nature (for example circumvention or hacking); and
- ensure that computer terminals have restricted access and that you logout correctly at the end of each session from the JLSafe.
About our hosting services
Hosting Services for our website is provided by Richemont International SA in Switzerland.
Mobile applications may be hosted by us or by other companies and you should refer to the relevant conditions of such other company.
Our privacy policy
Our information collection practices on JLSafe, such as the types of information we collect regarding visitors to JLSafe and the ways in which we may use that information, are governed by the terms of our Privacy Policy (Link)
Use of materials on JLSafe
Jaeger-LeCoultre has created its various platforms to provide information about its company and products. Whilst considerable effort has been made to ensure that the visual representations of Jaeger-LeCoultre products displayed on the platforms are representative of the colour, design and style etc. of the original products, slight variations, distortions and/or differences may be apparent when compared to the original product. This may, for example, be due to technical issues such as your browser or computer settings. Accordingly, Jaeger-LeCoultre cannot be held liable for any apparent differences in the product images represented on JLSafe and the original products. We strongly advise you visit one of our boutiques or authorised retailers prior to making a purchase online or by phone.
You may download one computer copy or print one copy of the material made available to you via JLSafe, or download the application on to your mobile device, for your own non-commercial, educational, private or domestic use only, provided that proprietary notices, in particular intellectual property notices such as copyright©, trademark™, are preserved intact and are not modified, deleted or changed. Unless otherwise stated, you should assume that everything that you see or read on JLSafe (such as images, photographs, including any person represented in the photographs, illustrations, icons, texts, video clips, music, written and other materials) ("Jaeger-LeCoultre Material") are protected by legislation such as copyright, designs and trademark legislation and under international treaty provisions and national laws worldwide.
You are not authorised to sell, reproduce, distribute, communicate, modify, display, publicly perform, report or otherwise prepare derivative or second hand works based on or use any Jaeger-LeCoultre Material in any way for any public or commercial purposes. Furthermore, Jaeger-LeCoultre Material may not be displayed or communicated on any other platform, in a networked computer environment or on any other digital platform for any purpose whatsoever. In the event of breach of any of these Terms of Use, your permission to use Jaeger-LeCoultre Material will automatically terminate and any copies made of Jaeger-LeCoultre Material must be immediately destroyed. Any unauthorised use of Jaeger-LeCoultre Material may infringe copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy and publicity, and communications regulations and statutes.
Confidentiality
You represent and guarantee that you will not disclose to any third party or use for its own purposes or purposes of others, other than as set out herein, either during or following termination of use, any information or documents relating to JLSafe. It is understood, that this obligation applies to any technical, business, advertising, financial, legal or other information of any nature whatsoever.
No material, document, or any part thereof related to the JLSafe may be reproduced, duplicated, republished, posted, copied, transmitted, re-engineered by any means of whatsoever nature, or used, shared or distributed to third parties in any way whatsoever other than as stipulated herein. You further agrees not to modify the software in any manner or form, or to use modified versions of the software.
The above requirements set out in this “Confidentiality” section shall not apply to information that is: i) available to the public other than by a breach of these Terms of Use; ii) rightfully received from a third party not in breach of an obligation of confidentiality; iii) independently developed by you without access to confidential information as evidenced by the your written records; iv) known to you prior to the time of disclosure as evidenced by you pre-disclosure written records; or v) produced in compliance with applicable law or a court order, provided Jaeger-LeCoultre is given reasonable notice of such law order and an opportunity to attempt to preclude or limit such production.
You acknowledge that any violation of the foregoing could cause irreparable harm to Jaeger-LeCoultre, which would not be adequately compensated by monetary damages. In addition to any other relief which Jaeger-LeCoultre might seek, you agree that injunctive relief shall be available to Jaeger-LeCoultre in the event that any such violation or threatened violation is likely to occur and/or has already occurred.
All computer readable files, including all accessory documents such as, but not limited to circular letters, specific instructions accessible from the JLSafe or forwarded to you in whatever form are and remain the property of Jaeger-LeCoultre and/or affiliated companies at all times and, as such, are protected by international and national copyright legislation.
In the event that your right to access and use the JLSafe is terminated any documentation, data reflecting any confidential information, including any documents forwarded by Jaeger-LeCoultre, in any form whatsoever, shall be promptly returned to Jaeger-LeCoultre and any computer readable copies deleted from the your computer system. You shall provide written confirmation that the deletion of such information has been effected upon request from Jaeger-LeCoultre.
Your liability
You shall be liable for any act or omission in violation of the present Terms of Use performed by your officers, directors, employees, agents and/or any other third party to whom you have granted access in violation of the present Terms of Use. You agree to fully indemnify, defend and hold Jaeger-LeCoultre, its affiliated companies, agents, successors and assigns harmless from and against any loss, cost, damage or expense arising by reason of a breach by you, or any non-compliance with these Terms of Use by your officers, directors, employees, agents and/or any other third party to whom access to the JLSafe has been granted.
Limitation of liability
This section applies to JLSafe and not to the products that may be sold online or by phone by one of our local or regional markets.
Jaeger-LeCoultre tries to ensure that the information provided is accurate and complete. However, Jaeger-LeCoultre does not warrant or represent that Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Material is accurate, error-free or reliable or that use of Jaeger-LeCoultre Material will not infringe rights of third parties.
Jaeger-LeCoultre does not warrant that the functional and/or technical aspects of JLSafe or the Jaeger-LeCoultre Material will be error free or that JLSafe, Jaeger-LeCoultre Material or the servers that make them available are free of viruses or other harmful components. If use of JLSafe or Jaeger-LeCoultre Material results in the need for servicing or replacing property, material, equipment, data or other element, Jaeger-LeCoultre is not responsible for those costs. Without limiting the foregoing, everything on JLSafe is provided to you "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" AND, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, REASONABLE CARE AND SKILL, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. Jaeger-LeCoultre and its suppliers make no warranties about the Jaeger-LeCoultre Material, software, text, downloads, graphics, and links, or about results to be obtained from using JLSafe.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jaeger-LeCoultre shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the use of information available from JLSafe or any liability relating to any loss of use, interruption of business, lost profits or lost data, regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, even if Jaeger-LeCoultre has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Please note that in some jurisdictions consumer protection laws may not allow certain exclusions or limitation of warranties or liabilities, and consequently some of the above exclusions and limitations may not apply.
Trademark notice
In general, all trademarks, logos and service marks (collectively the "Trademarks") that appear on JLSafe are registered, unregistered or otherwise protected Jaeger-LeCoultre trademarks or are licensed for use by Jaeger-LeCoultre by third parties. Other trademarks are proprietary marks and are registered to their respective owners. Nothing contained on JLSafe should be construed as granting, by implication or otherwise, any licence or right to use any trademark without Jaeger-LeCoultre’s prior written permission or that of such third party who owns the trademark. Misuse of any trademark displayed on JLSafe, or any other content on JLSafe, except as provided herein, is strictly prohibited.

JLSafe may contain links to other platforms operated by third parties not affiliated to Jaeger-LeCoultre. The inclusion of any link to such third party sites does not imply endorsement by Jaeger-LeCoultre of those sites. Jaeger-LeCoultre has not reviewed all of the content contained in the linked sites and is not responsible for the content or accuracy of any off-site pages or any other sites linked to any of JLSafe. If you choose to click through any link to off-site pages or third party sites then this is at your own risk. Jaeger-LeCoultre does not authorise linking to any of JLSafe from a third party platform without its express prior written authorisation.
Termination and suspension
Either party may terminate the Agreement upon seven (7) days notice to the other party.
In case of termination or limitation of your business relationship or in the event user is no longer one of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s authorised after sales services providers for any reason whatsoever, Jaeger-LeCoultre shall have the right to terminate or suspend use of and access to the JLSafe immediately.
You also agree that Jaeger-LeCoultre may terminate or suspend your access to and use of the JLSafe if Jaeger-LeCoultre reasonably believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of these Terms of Use, or violated the rights of Jaeger-LeCoultre, its affiliated companies or any third party, with or without notice to you.
You agree that Jaeger-LeCoultre may modify or discontinue providing any of the JLSafe, with or without notice to you. You agree that Jaeger-LeCoultre will not be liable to you or any third party as a result of such modification or discontinuation.
Upon termination, your permission to use the JLSafe will automatically expire and all account profiles to the JLSafe will be cancelled.
The provisions entitled “Confidentiality”, “Your liability”, "Limitation of liability" and "General provisions" will survive termination of these Terms of Use.
General provisions
Unless otherwise specified, the information and materials presented on JLSafe are presented solely for the purpose of promoting Jaeger-LeCoultre’s products and services and in certain cases to present products for sale via a variety of means. Jaeger-LeCoultre makes no representation that Jaeger-LeCoultre Material is appropriate or available for use in every country of the world. You are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws, keeping in mind that access to Jaeger-LeCoultre Material may not be legal by certain persons or in certain countries. Our products are available in many parts of the world. However, JLSafe may identify products that are not available worldwide.
If any provision, or part of a provision, of these Terms of Use is found to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision shall be deemed not to form part of these Terms of Use, and the legality, validity or enforceability of the remainder of the provisions of these Terms of Use shall not be affected, unless otherwise required by operation of applicable law.
These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the use of JLSafe, and replace and extinguish all prior agreements, draft agreements, arrangements, undertakings, or collateral contracts of any nature made by the parties, whether oral or written, in relation to such subject matter.
The waiver by Jaeger-LeCoultre of a breach of any provision of these Terms of Use will not operate to be interpreted as a waiver of any other or subsequent breach.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland without reference to conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in relation to the Terms of Use, including the validity, invalidity, breach or termination thereof, shall be adjudicated or arbitrated in accordance with said Terms of Use. Where the laws of Switzerland are different to the mandatory consumer laws in your own country, we will afford you with similar protection.
